Burdekin Collie kennels is situated in the peaceful rural town of Cowra in central western NSW and is the passion of Glenda and Michelle Grant. Our dogs are reared in a relaxed country environment and enjoy roaming freely in a peaceful, tranquil setting. From our early introduction to dog showing in child-handlers to participating in all aspects of exhibiting, breeding and promoting the breed that is our love we have become one of the most successful Collie kennels in our current era. 

We have successfully competed in DOL point score and been awarded both No 1. Collie Rough(Australia) and Best Breeder Collie Rough. (Australia) for 2010. We have just crowned our 8th Grand Champion.and our dogs continue to win at Best in Group and Best in Show level. We are proud to have produced over 25 Australian Champions and congratulate the owners and exhibitors of our dogs Australia wide on this achievement. 

Our roots go back to the 1960's with 3 generations of family involvement and commitment to this beautiful breed. As do most devoted followers of our breed we owe our qualities and strengths to the dedicated efforts of our predecessors whose conscientious efforts enable us to continually reproduce the consistency in type and temperament we have today.
